Electronic Visa Application DS-160

To complete your visa application, you need a digital photo. Please read the requirements carefully to upload your photo and photo specifications.

All visa applicants must complete an Electronic Application Form (DS-160)

You can fill out the DS-160 electronic visa application yourself by accessing it from your Internet.

DS-160 is available in Russian. To be able to read the Russian translation of the English form field, candidates can select “Russian” in the “Select Language Tooltip” box at the top right of the page. After you have done this, the Russian translation window will appear every time you hover over the English text.

Before proceeding with the application, you must upload a photo in order to submit an application. Upon completion, the information in DS-160 will be electronically transferred to the US Department of State. The applicant must then print a confirmation page that includes some biographical information and a bar-coded confirmation number.

Applicants must bring a DS-160 Embassy Confirmation Page on the day of the interview. If the online application has not been fully and accurately completed, the applicant will be asked to return for a second interview with a correctly completed application.
